Chiropractic Consultation, Examination & Treatment

Your initial appointment with Dr. Semadeni (Dr. Paul) is primarily a fact-finding visit designed to learn more about you, your health concerns, condition and expectations. This is also the opportunity to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
After your consultation, you will undergo a thorough and complete chiropractic examination. Dr. Paul will assess your posture, spinal alignment and mobility, your range of motion, muscle flexibility and strength, muscle tone and trigger points and your reflexes. Additional standard neurological, orthopaedic and physical tests may be performed as well.
Please be assured that nothing will be done at your appointment without your understanding and your prior consent. If you don't want to be adjusted at this time, then you won't be!
After discussing the possible treatment options and course of action you will be treated. After treatment we'll discuss your future desires, concerns and thoughts on future treatments, other possible treatments, courses of action and alternative therapies. Depending upon the issue you will be educated on the nature of your condition and possibly given exercises, stretches and tips to help the issue.Chiropractic X-Rays & Other StudiesDepending on your specific condition, Dr Semadeni will determine if radiographs (X-rays) are warranted. X-rays can provide additional information about your condition, and help to determine the most effective course of action. Each treatment plan is designed specifically for you. Other tests such as Diagnostic Ultrasound or Bone Densitometry (to check bone density) may be discussed and ordered as well.
